In prac...In theory, I'm a fan of book trailers. In practice, I wonder how people find them, in order to get interested in a book.<br /><br />I like your Grey Tier trailer - it's very stylish and I think it gets the feel of the book nicely. In general, I have a few requirements for a trailer: 1) They have to be no more than a minute long. Get in, get to the point, get out. 2) If you're just going to use stock photos and put words across them, then why bother? It's like watching a PowerPoint presentation. 3) Surprise me in some way, either through humor or terror or setting the mood or tone of the book. <br /><br />I've got trailers for my two mysteries. I don't know if they drive any sales, but I live by your words: "Throw it all out there and see what sticks."
